Today we released Trilinear, our newest shawl in the Graduating Stripes Series!

This triangular shaped shawl is knit in stockinette stitch from the top down, with an I-Cord bindoff.  Pattern is written for lace, fingering and aran weight yarns.

It is also part of our new eBook that contains the other shawls in this series, Diffraction and Sonar.

Recently, we’ve released two new shawl patterns in our Graduating Stripes Series.

First was Diffraction, a rectangular shawl with unique construction from the inside working out using Judy’s Magic Cast On.

I can’t wait to make this up in some variegated and slow color changing yarns. It is such an easy pattern that it’s perfect for travel and TV knitting.

Next up was our new Sonar Shawl.  Knit top down in a semi-circular shape with the graduating stripes, it is a striking shawl that is very cozy and easy to wear.

What’s next in the series? #3 in the series will be out late December and #4 mid January.

We’ve just released our new Dancing Flames Socks pattern.

Inspired by the delicate Dancing Flame Fuchsia flowers, with their petals gracefully dangling from a top stem and spindly stamens peeking out the bottom, these rounded toe socks are worked toe-up and 2 at a time using magic loop. Easily converted to being done one at a time, they can also be knit with DPNs or 2 circular needles. Judy’s Magic Cast on is used along with a fully gusseted short row heel. Directions are both written and charted.

We are up and running with our new site. We hope you enjoy it and come back often.

Our goal is to offer you information on all things knitting; new tools, techniques, patterns and yarn.
